About Us

The Allegheny College Fencing Club has about 25 active members, consisting of students, faculty and staff, and members of the Meadville community. Club members fence in USA Fencing sanctioned and college club tournaments both regionally and nationally. Currently, the group fences foil and epee. Although we encourage committed fencers to purchase their own gear, the club has equipment to help new fencers get started. We meet two days a week in the Wise Center Dance Studio. Each practice includes group drills, one-on-one lessons, and practice bouts. Fencers of all ability levels ages 16 and up are welcome to our practices. If you've never held an epee before or if you are a fencing master, please come join us!

2015-16 Practice Times and Place:
